The Change a Life initiative unites the Computershare community in a desire to fund projects around the world, with charities that share our vision of addressing poverty and empowering communities to effect long-term change. Computershare extends its support for the initiative by matching all employee payroll contributions globally and has invited its shareholders to donate their dividends to the cause. Change a Life has raised over AU$3m.
Today, the Computershare community sponsors a farmer managed natural regeneration project in Chad, and an educational program in Sri Lanka and the construction of the Sunrise Children's Village in Cambodia. In South Africa, we are sponsoring the Valued Citizens Initiative, the DNA Project and the Martin Dreyer Academy.
Since our conception, the Change a Life program has also sponsored a mobile eye care clinic in Ethiopia Cambodian Highland community education program and the community development project in Laos, thanks to the support of the Computershare Community these projects have been completed, with fantastic results.
All these projects help enhance and improve the lives of people in areas where there is critical need.
